Entourage quits unexpectedly and will not run

when i open up ms entourage, it just say that entourage has quit
unexpectedly. i tried to reopen it and it does the same thing. it
wouldn't even open up all the way. as soon as the window opens up, it
crashes right away. word, excel, powerpoint, etc. are working fine.
i've tried to check the integrity of the database and it saids it's
fine. i tried to rebuild the database, but didn't work. i was able
to create another profile by holding down the shift key when opening
entourage. it was working fine. i had 2 different inbox, both of
which are connected to the same exchange server. however, after i
rebooted my mac, my emails messages in my inbox begins to disappear.
for some reason, the messages were moving to my old profile's inbox.
the weird thing is, i have approximately 20 subfolders in my inbox
with roughly 2.7GB worth of emails and they're all gone. all those
folders are now empty. i decided to delete the new profile that i
created because it may be confuse as to where to send my messages.
after that, the "entourage quits unexpectedly" problem came back. at
this point, i want to just uninstall entourage or ms office all
together and reinstall it again. my only concern is where did all my
messages go? i do see a database file that's about 7.5GB and hoping
that all my messages are there. is this database file similar to a
pst file like in outlook? if so then i should be able to create a new
profile and connect to the database file and retrieve all my missing
messages. i'd greatly appreciate any help or tips to point me to the
right direction. PLEASE HELP! Thx....

that may get my entourage back up and running, but do you have any
idea as to where all my message could have gone to? i'm hoping that
the data base file will contain them since it's 7.5GB large. as of
right now, my inbox is about 100MB when it's suppose to be 2.5GB.

You said you tried to rebuild. Look to see if there is a rebuild database.
For Entourage 2004 it will have the date after it like this:

Main [Backed up 1-21-2007 13.35]

You could use the old database to recover any missing messages. I'm not an
exchange guru, but it seems there was a bug where messages would get deleted
that was related to exchange accounts.

Can you please do me a favor and rewrite your post? Please use caps to
begin sentences, please upper-case "I" when referring to yourself and
please break up your one long paragraph into smaller paragraphs.

I'm not trying to be condescending but someone else pointed me to your
post to ask if I could assist and I'm having a very hard time
understanding what you're trying to say.

My best guess at this point is that you have received a corrupt email
message, which is crashing Entourage when it's trying to display in the
preview pane. Turn off the preview pane as you're resynching and see if
this helps. And if you have a 2.7GB file you most likely still have your
data. Now, it's just a matter of getting it accessible again.
