Entourage quits when attempting changing color of font or background

I am using an iMac G-5 and running Mac 10.4.2. The problem I am having
is with Entourage 11.1.0.

I have no problems with the program unless I change an outgoing email
to HTML and then attempt to change the color of font or the background
of the email. Immediately upon pressing my mouse on either of these two
menus, Entourage quits.

When a dialogue box appears asking me to either make a report to Apple
or choose "Again" to restart the program and reset settings back to
default...the menus will work OK for a while before screwing up again.

Several times I've removed all of the .plist files to the trash and
even reinstalled Entourage but the problem doesn't disappear except for
a brief time after hitting the "Again" button.

I also have Entourage running on my G-4 iBook but have never
experienced a similar problem.

I would appreciate any assistance that could be offered. Thank you!

If you turn on Microsoft Error Reporting, then instead of Apple providing
the error log to Apple, our own tool will ask whether or not you'd like to
submit it to Microsoft, where we keep track of them and work on them in
most-frequently-reported order.

Alternatively, if you copy the text out of the Apple Crash Reporter into a
file and post it (or out of Microsoft Error Reporting's "Show More
Information" window), we would know more about that crash log (related to
menu clicking when changing background colors).
