Entourage quits when clicking Send/Receive

When writing a new email, I can press SEND in the email window and everything is fine - it sends right away and the recipient receives it. But, when I click on the SEND/RECEIVE icon on the tool bar to get my email, Entourage quits and I get the message: Entourage unexpectantly quit.

I have repaired disk permissions, but no change. Entourage has always preformed perfectly for me in the past. Thanks

This exact same thing is happening to me today. On two different computers using Entourage.

First, make sure everything is perfectly up to date.
Try launching the application pressing the Option key down and rebuild
the identity.
Once you are done, check the rules and Mailing list manager (the
destination folders there tend to get corrupted in the process).
Does it solve the issue??

Problem solved with installing the latest update, 10.1.9:

The update includes 10.1.6 for Entourage. I was running 10.1.4.
