Entourage Receiving Trouble

Entourage is downloading messages from my hotmail account to my local
folder. Therefore all the dates of received mail have been changed.
Mail I received in hotmail months ago is now recorded as mail from
today as is no longer in hotmail.

It seems to be doing this with some pattern. certain senders email
show up locally and some show up within hotmail.

Anyone know how to remedy a problem like this.

Are you viewing the date "Sent" or "Received"? Received is the date it
arrived at your Entourage DB, but Sent *should* be when the user sent it.

To avoid messages being transferred to the local inbox check to see if you
have any rules set up or a mailing list manager. If so check the rules and
turn off the mailing list manager or even better delete the mailing list
manager.
