Entourage requesting return receipts eventhough it's not set to do so

I keep getting return receipts for message sent using Entourage, but I've checked my settings and I'm definitely not inadvertently requesting these (as you probably know, requesting receipts using Entourage is a little more complex than in Outlook and not something I'd be doing accidentally). I think this problem possibly occurs only when a recipient opens my emails using Outlook, as only some of the people I email are getting receipt requests. I've contacted my internet service provider, BT, and they say it's Microsoft's problem, not theirs. Any ideas (please!)? I want to stop requesting receipts!

It's a setting on your Exchange server. It's not in Entourage.

Can you log in to your account via webmail and make settings changes
there? Possibly, you've enabled return receipts on your server.
