Entourage Right-Justified Text Boxes

Here's an odd Entourage behavior that has me baffled. I'm hoping that
one of you know how to fix it. The text entry boxes--such as the
subject line for emails and the name boxes in the address book--are
right justified. That is, when I type the words begin on the right
side. And the words that are already there (such as the original
subject in a Reply message) are hidden off the right side of the screen
and only appear when I use the right arrow to scroll to the right. Very
irritating. So, anyone out there have the explanation why this is
happening and, more importantly, the fix? Thanks.

Ken,

I have attached a newsgroup message from Wednesday that explains one
possible cause.
