Entourage runs slow

I have a new iMac (intel based) and entourage (office 2004 in general but
mostly entourage) is running very slow. It takes a long time just to switch
from Address book to mail, and even worse to search for a contact. Is this
due to rosetta?

Well ROsetta could have something to do with it, but it could also be
something else:
- projects with a lot of contacts tied to them
- corruptions in the database (you can launch the app pressing down the
Alt key to rebuild it)

Probably the biggest culprit is Rosetta, but you can test for database size
by creating a new Identity and see if the blank database responds in the
same way.
