Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange
We have a problem with 2 of our users. One who has MacBook Air, the other with a MacBook Pro, both running Entourage 2008, with the 12.1.5 Updates. We have an Exchange 2003 server. They work 90% out of the office and 10% in.
They will reply or forward an email message, and assume that it sends. The person never receives it. Most of the time we dont know when they dont get the mail. They can send and receive email normally 99% of the time. When either one comes into the office and connects to the internal network every few months, these mystery emails will all automatically send, with the timestamp of that moment. They dont seem to follow any patterns. I have done the simple things like repair permissions, verify and repair Entourage database. I cleared the cache on the sent items folder. What's difficult is that there is no "outbox" folder so we can see if these messages are pending.
Does anyone have ideas on what I could try next? It's pretty hard to duplicate, which has made it very hard to fix.
Thanks!
