If you are crashing on receiving mail, it could be due to a corrupt
message on the server. Work through the steps on the "Crashes" page on The
Entourage Help Page.
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/help/send_receive/crashes_hangs.html>

Please let us know if the tips to disable the Junk Mail Filter (Tools ->
Junk Mail Filter) and disable rules (Tools -> Rules) worked, as that's a
possible workaround to this problem, and knowing whether it works could help
to eliminate the problem in future releases. If that doesn't solve the
problem, try the steps to Allow Online Access and delete the message.

Hi Mickey,

I've tried to disable the Junk filter and the rules but the problem is still
occurring lots of time.
I've forgot to state that the client is configured to receive from 2 IMPA
account and 2 POP3 account.

Thanks for your help and bye.

CUT

Hi Mickey,

I've tried to disable the Junk filter and the rules but the problem is still
occurring lots of time.
I've forgot to state that the client is configured to receive from 2 IMPA
account and 2 POP3 account.

The problem is probably happening because of a corrupt message on the
server. The question is which server. So, when you launch Entourage, go to
Tools -> Send & Receive, and choose the first account (the third item in the
menu). If you crash, then you know the problem is with that account. If
not, choose the next account and repeat. Once you find out which account
has the corrupt message, you should follow the "normal troubleshooting
steps" to fix the problem. They're in a numbered list here:
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/help/send_receive/crashes_hangs.html>

If none of that helps, you might need to rebuild the database as well.
First, go to Entourage -> Turn Off Office Notifications. Now, quit
Entourage, and then restart Entourage holding down the Option key. When the
Rebuild dialog box comes up, choose to do a Typical Rebuild.
