Entourage Spotlight integration.

Dear members:

After experiencing issues trying to use Spotlight to search information
contained in Entourage e-mail messages, I finally contacted Apple's
technical support and discovered that Spotlight is not able to index
Entourage's content. This came as quite a disappointment since Spotlight was
one of the major reasons why I decided to switch to Tiger.

Has Microsoft or any third party company released a plug-in for Spotlight
that allows it to search info in Entourage ? If not, when is Microsoft
planning to release one ?

No, not that I know of. I think that it is limited because Entourage uses
one database file to hold virtually all information, and indexing that file
so that Spotlight can use it would be a rather immense proposition.
Hopefully your post here will serve as feedback to the team at Microsoft to
work on this feature for a future version of Entourage.
