Whenever I log onto my computer Entourage automatically starts-up. I am just starting with my iMac and I want to use iMail for a while. I want to disable the auto-start of Entourage. How can I do it?

Open System Preferences, and then open "Accounts". Choose your account, and
click the "Login Items" tab. If Entourage appears in the list, remove it by
selecting the application and pressing the "-" button.

If it does not appear in the list, there might be another application that
is requiring Entourage to open to run. This occasionally happens with some
third-party utilities like MenuCalendarClock. Try disabling third-party
applications that link into Entourage to see which one is causing the
problem.

I think an easier way (assuming that Entourage itself is set to run at login
and is not being invoked by another app) is to click and hold on Entourage's
icon in the Dock and uncheck the item labeled "Open at Login".
