Entourage stopped synching with Treo

I have:
- Leopard (10.5.1 with all updates)
- Office 2004
- Treo 650
- installed Entourage 2004 conduit

when i first installed leopard and office 2004 (and the entourage
conduit), my treo 650 synched perfectly with entourage. now it syncs
intermittently (mostly not). it runs through the sync process, syncs
everything but entourage, and then stops. when it doesn't work, i try
to open the entourage conduit settings in hotsync manager but it won't
open. all other conduits will open (ie install and backup). i don't
have conduits that conflict with Entourage and i do have "enable sync
with these new handhelds" checked. when i can't open the entourage
conduit, i have to quit and restart my computer. then i can open my
entourage conduit SOMETIMES, but not always. i reinstalled the
conduit but that didn't help.

why is my sync so flaky?

Take a look at the

HD:Library:Application Supportalm Hotsync:Conduits:

folder. Drag everything other than the Microsoft Entourage Conduit out
of the folder and try to Hotsync - does that work?

If so, add back, one at a time, the conduits you want. I have only

Backup Conduit
Install Conduit
Microsoft Entourage Conduit
Photos Conduit

and things are working OK for me.

If you add back a conduit that causes Entourage to stop syncing, you've
found the conflict.
