Entourage to Exchange to Blackberry not working for updates

I have entourage full edition connection to Exchange (not Exchange 2007, so it's not web services).

I can create a calendar entry in entourage, and it shows up on my exchange server (I can verify that through my browser view) and then hits my Blackberry.

BUT if I then UPDATE the calendar entry (say, add some notes), it gets updated on my Exchange server (again, I log in the web client and I can see it), but it DOES NOT update on my Blackberry.

Any ideas??
