Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop
A weird problem: on quit, Entourage throws up a dialog box saying it is preparing to delete messages. If you let this go for a few minutes, it will run the number of messages to be deleted up into the thousands. Problem is, there a) are no messages in the Deleted Items folder or the the Junk Mail folder and b) is no rule that says it should be doing this at all to begin with. (I went so far as to delete the Empty Deleted Items Folder rule altogether to see if that was somehow triggering this. No luck.)
I have trashed any and all Microsoft pref files. The Entourage db was fairly recently rebuilt. Any ideas?
