What the heck is going on with this crazy pop-up dialog that is constantly telling me that Entourage wants my permission to allow it to use a font that exists on a remote device connected to my computer?
First of all, there is no font on my backup device that is not also resident on my computer's primary hard drive.
Second, I have read a number of posts that discuss this issue but offer lame guesses and hunches as to what is involved. I would rather hear something definitive from Microsoft before I waste my time with 3rd party products that delete font caches, the Font Book applications, preferences, or any of the other voodoo ideas written by people who just don't have the answer but are trying to be helpful.
Something must be triggering this dialog box to appear. What is it?
