Hello,
I have 2 users who are having the exact same problem. When I try to launch
Entourage, it brings up the start up screen but never gets to doing any
startup checks (font menu, etc) It quits within a few seconds of startup.
I have recreated the database. I have removed/reinstalled Office several
times. Repaired permissions, ran DiskWarrior. I have not tried creating a
second user yet. That's about the last thing I can think of.
Here is from my console log:
2004-10-20 09:38:26.012 Microsoft Error Reporting[1806] CFLog (21): Cannot
find executable for CFBundle 0x14e000
</System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/liberty.framework> (not loaded)
2004-10-20 09:38:26.026 Microsoft Error Reporting[1806] CFLog (21): Cannot
find executable for CFBundle 0x14e030
</System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/liberty.framework> (not loaded)
I can tell you in that location there is a file called liberty.framework.
Not sure why though this may be giving a problem.
At about the same time this problem cropped up, I am having a problem in
Photoshop CS where when using the eyedropper tool it can not read the screen
values in an image. I don't know if there is some relationship (my thought
is there shouldn't be but it's now 2 different people having the exact same
problem.)
Does anybody have any thoughts?
Thanks a lot,
Brett
