entourage will not open. error mess says"the rules file appears corrupt.rules cannot be used".

"the rules file appears corrupt.rules cannot be used". I have tried re-installing, updating. nothing works.

Move the Rules file out of your Identity folder. Let Entourage create a new
blank file.
