Entourage will not open....HELP

Hi. after years of working perfectly my entourage suddenly wont open. When I
click the icon everything starts as normal then I get the message. "the
application entourage quit unexpectedly" What do I do? A window opens with
the option to send a report to Apple which I have done. it contains paages of
code etc that Im sure makes sence to some but not to me. The first few lines
are.

Hello Jeremy,

It seems you may have corrupt Entourage preferences, so what you want
to do is to trash the Entourage preferences.

1. Quit all Office applications
2. Hard drive/users/home/library/preferences and drag the
com.microsoft.entourage.plist to the trash
3. Also within the preferences you will see a Microosoft folder and in
here look for com.microsoft.entourage.prefs.plist and drag this to the
trash.
4. Launch Microosoft Entourage and it should open successfully
