This is a strange issue and I think I've picked it apart pretty well, but still no resolution.

Issue: Receiver is getting an email from particular sender but only to his iPhone or OWA Webmail, but will not come into Entourage.

I had the user empty cache. During the re-population of the inbox and folder structure upon clearing the cache, new messages arrived but this message was left out.

I had him check his junk mail and FrontBridge account to see if there were any reject rules for this sender or if the message was sitting in spam filtration. We then added the senders domain name to "Safe Domains" in Entourage. Still nothing.

I had the user forward me the email and the symptom was duplicated. I was able to receive this message on my iPhone but not on my Entourage. At this point I'm thinking there is some message content that is keeping it from coming into his and my inbox. I check the message and find no inappropriate content, no attachments.

I also check the Exchange Mailbox server to see if the message was somehow sitting in the Queue. Nothing.

I'm at a loss. This is a big problem since the email is from a new potential client.

Anything anyone else can think of?

Thanks

Matthew

Does the subject of the message happen to have a plus sign ( + ) in it?
This is a known issue with Entourage.

Hope this helps!

Well that seems to be the problem. A + sign in the subject. Good job William!

I had not heard of that one before. I'll make a blast out to my agency and let them know this is a problem and to keep an eye out for it.

Thanks!

Matthew
