Entourage Window snaps to top of screen...

I posted on this before, but I think I've discovered a trigger, and I wanted to create a new topic so that there might be some new views on this issue.

In Entourage 2008, I have multiple windows open. Position the first window that was so that it overlaps the dock (at the bottom - haven't tried this with the dock in other positions). Windows other than the first Entourage window do not appear to be affected.

Now open an application that does not normally live in the dock. When the dock is expanded, the Entourage window will pop upward to get out of the way of the changing dock. The same thing will happen again when the non-dock-dwelling application is closed, as the dock again resizes to fill the space left by the departing icon.

This is quite annoying, and can't possibly be a by-design behavior. Can we get a fix?

Much appreciated!!

You could try different Dock options in Dock preferences.

Personally, I have my Dock on the right of the screen and do not have this
problem. I like having more height for my windows.

Okay, I guess that would be one way of handling the issue (doctor, it hurts when I do this -- well don't do that). But I'd prefer to see the problem fixed.

Thanks,
