I'm hoping that the MAC business unit will read and consider this request
for a feature in the next version of Office for MAC.

As a MAC desktop and laptop user I would like to see a way to sync my
desktop and laptop Entourage data including; Contacts, Calendar, Tasks,
Notes and Accounts.

So here's hoping this shows up!

for a feature in the next version of Office for MAC.

Notes and Accounts.

So here's hoping this shows up!

Microsoft MacBU announced last January (Macworld SF) that they are planning
to participate in the Mac OS "Sync Services" introduced with Tiger, in due
course. (They didn't say when.) My understanding is that bugs in Tiger's
SyncServices mean that they have to hold off a while, so you are probably
unlikely to see it in an interim update, but "the next version of Office"
(whenever that may be) sounds like a reasonable time frame. When that
happens, it should permit synching not only to Entourage on other computers
but to other programs on your computer and all the devices that iSync syncs
to.

In the meantime - since you can't normally be in two places at once and
usually just need to update the Entourage that you haven't been using most
recently - you can do that by simply copying the "Main Identity" (or
whatever you might have renamed your identity to) folder in the Office 2004
Identities folder in the Microsoft User Data folder in your OS user
Documents folder from one computer to the other, replacing.
