When using Entourage every once in a while while my husband and I
switch our email acounts we get get a message to close all MS office
programs including messenger. NONE of these programs are open! When
I force close the program I still get the same message when I reopen
it. I must restart my computer to fix this problem. Is this a bug?
Any once else have this problem?

Notifications is an Office application. How to close Notifications:

Make sure Messenger is updated. Seems there was something in an update that
fixed a conflict like this, but I can't find the info right now.

Another option would be to create a new User in System Preferences and have
your husband use Entourage in the new User. This way you don't have to close
down your account to open his. Use Fast User Switching to quickly go back
and forth.

I have the latest update for Entourage. Messenger is on my computer
but it has never been set up and installed. Would getting rid of it
solve this problem with switching? How do I get rid of Messenger?
