entourage wont work...at all :(

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

just bought office 2008 and i was looking forward to using entourage
when i try and set up the program, everything seems to be working well, but when i try and send/receive my emails i get a message saying "HTTP error access to the resource is forbidden". am trying to use entourage with a hotmail account please help

Is this a new Hotmail account and is it a paid premium account? Hotmail
does not allow POP access to its free accounts.

A long time ago, Hotmail did allow free POP access and those accounts
were grandfathered when the premium service was put in place.

its not a new account, but it is a free one, so does this mean that i cant get entourage to work with it?
hmmm..seems a bit stupid that microsoft doesnt allow its products to work together...

Don't get me wrong. Microsoft *does* allow Entourage to work with
Hotmail. Just not for free.

If you want a free account, try Gmail. It has great spam filters.
