I wish to print a simple, 8 1/2 x 11, 12-month calendar with pages that
are identical to or closely resemble the monthly Entourage Calendar in which
holidays have been imported BUT without any Events or Tasks.

How would I do that in Entourage 2004, please?

If that's not possible, where would I find a Word 2004 template to do the
job?

Respectfully, Norm

Hi Norm -

Have you tried opening the New list while in Calendar View to set up a
Custom View? Include/Exclude what you wish.

Thanks very much for wishing to help, Bob. I'm confused on how to follow
through. I searched on the MVP's Entourage website pages and in
Entourage Help under a number of variables, but failed to get any
clarification.

Here's what I tried and where I get lost:

1. In Entourage, click on Calendar icon.
2. In the Calendar menubar select "Month"
3. In the Calendar menubar, click on "New"
4. Select from its dropdown menu "Custom View"

That's as far as I can get.

If I only wish to print each month and the holidays that occur during there
and exclude Tasks and Calendar Events:

5. What do I check, if anything under Item Types? (If I do not check
anything, the next selection area is grayed out)

6. Under Location, I only can guess that I should select "All Calendars"
and uncheck the "Include Deleted Items" default, but that does not keep the
new Custom View alive. What do I do here?

7. Under Criteria, I'm lost as to how the choices would apply to a new
Custom View. I understand how the choices would apply to the creation of
email message rules, which I use, but now how to select any and then what to
enter the boxes. Help?

Where in the first four steps above did I go wrong or what did I miss in the
Entourage Help pages or the MVP Entourage web pages?

Hi Norm,

what you want to do can actually be done, with a slight modification: you
cannot have a single page with all 12 months on it, but you will have to
print 12 separate month-view pages. First of all, make sure that all the
holidays you would like to be included in your printout have a specific
category, such as Holiday. Then, in Calendar view, click on File>Print, and
in the print dialogue, specify that you want monthly calendars, then set the
period, from January 2007 to December 2007. Next, click on Layout, and in
the window that pops up, specify that you only want to print items that
belong to the Holiday category. Back in the print dialogue, select the right
page layout in the Form dropdown list, and then you should be ready to hit
the print button. Feel free to make any other customisations, such as
excluding tasks, if you happen to have tasks belonging to the Holiday
category.

Alright, Michael! Thank you so very much. My customized 2007 Entourage
wall calendar is now printing on matte paper as I type this note.

For the next time, I'll have to learn how to insert art and stylized text,
if that's not asking too much a use of Entourage Calendar. Either way, I'm
pleased with what I see coming out of the printer.

Hi Norm,

glad I could help. And yes, inserting clip arts and stylised text is
definitely asking too much of Entourage, so don't you get greedy now that
you've got the program to do the one thing you wanted to have! ;-)
