Entourage X constantly crashes

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

Entourage X constantly crashes ever since I upgraded Leopard to 10.5.3. It worked fine before that.It seems to crash only with certain types of emails.

I do not like Apple Mail, specifically the address book. I have no idea how to fix Entourage problems. Microsoft support website says they have ended
support of this version and there are no more updates, ever! Do you have any
ideas for me???

Did you upgrade to 10.1.9?

This sounds like a cache or font problem.

Here is more detail about my basic problem: Entourage X constantly crashes ever since I upgraded Leopard to 10.5.3. It
worked fine before that.It seems to crash only with certain types of emails.I updated to 10.5.3 last week. At the time of the update I did the back up with time Machine. I Repaired Permissions. I use Microsoft Entourage 10.1.6 as my mail program. I upgraded to Office 10.1.9. when I switched to Leopard.

Ever since I performed the update I cannot open any emails that are not from private parties. EX: I subscribe to a number of news groups, etc. When I try to open these emails, Entourage crashes. Emails from friends, family, etc work fine. This is so puzzling!!!

I looked at the links you suggested but I can't seem to figure it all out. All this trouble began not when I switched to a new iMac which has Leopard on it, but rather the crashes began after did the Leopard update.

Drag a few messages that cause problems to the Shared folder. Go to System
Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the New User by
logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Open Entourage. Drag the messages
from Shared and see if they open in the new User.

If you have invested in a new computer and Leopard, why not upgrade to
Office 2008?

If you don't need Exchange you can get Office 2008 very reasonably. $129.99
