Entourage'08 can't connect to Exchange on Leopard

Hi,

I'm trying to connect to my company's exchange server. I've seen the
different formats for setting up the account manually to no avail. I have
tried both inside our network as well as outside out network.

This is a clean install with the most current update on Leopard. I know my
account on exchange works since I use web mail all the time.

Any idea on what to look for?

I have been seeing these on the console:

11/7/08 1:39:42 PM /Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Microsoft
Entourage.app/Contents/MacOS/Microsoft Entourage[2262] Warning: accessing
obsolete X509Anchors.

I did try to get a cert file from our systems but was a little confused on
that and the command line tool didn't seem to like the file.

This sounds to me like you may need to update your Mac OS X software
using Apple menu --> Software Update. Renewed X509Anchors are released
periodically by issuers and Apple includes them in their updates.

issue on the server side that my IT guys could check into?

If Outlook Web Access (OWA) works then Entourage should work too. How
are you configuring your Exchange account in Entourage and what version
of Exchange Server does your company use?

These instructions for configuring Entourage 2004 still apply to
Entourage 2008:

For Exchange Server 2007 you may need to substitute your server address:

server.domain.com

with

server.domain.com/exchange/[email protected]
