Entourange 2008 2.1.2 keeps freezing up

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

Has anybody noticed any incompatibilities associated with update 12.1.2..? I use Entourage 2008 on my MBP and after the update the operation of the soft keeps freezing especially in moment when I move the mouse from one item in the display (e.g. a mail message) to another and somehow it looks as if the preview pane was not able to hang along , to cope... I have tried repairing the disk, repairing the permissions, also rebuild the database - same problem all the way.
When I use the 12.1.1 on my MBA - there is no problem at all...
Please help as this is really annoying... BTW the freeze usually lasts for 20-30 seconds seldom longer
Best regards

Hi Piotr!

The first place to start is to test your Exchange account in a new
identity. Use the Entourage --> Switch Identity... menu to create a new
identity and then enter your Exchange account settings again. Allow time
for all your data to sync.

If the problem continues then test in a new Mac OS X user account. Go to
Apple menu --> System Preferences... --> Accounts and create a new
account. Log in to that account and then set up Entourage again. Allow
time to sync and test again.

If the problem still doesn't go away then try to locate another Mac (a
completely different machine) and set up your Exchange account and test.
If the problem continues then Entourage is not the cause but rather your
account. If the problem does not appear on another machine then you may
need to troubleshoot your first Mac further. But most likely, Entourage
won't be the cause.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your advice . I have just created a new identity and it seems that Entourage works much better - so far it hang itself just for a short while (like 2-3 sec) and works further. If anything new happens I will keep you posted
