Hi,
I'm not clear what you mean by forward, do you just mean you have got
the smtphost and pop account details and entered them into Entourage?
If that is done correctly you should be able to use your account.

Can you gain access to your mail some other way, for example if
outlook web access working?

Its probably best to check, just to rule out other possible problems.

According to the entourage error page at:

http://www.entourage.mvps.org/error/page.html#error-3259

this is a server error. I have had this problem myself. I thank all
you can do is report this to the university IT service. Jut tell them
you get the time out message. Our people were able to fix it, so I'm
sure yours could. The fact that you are using Entourage or Mail etc.
on a mac should not be a problem itself, as I can use both to get
access to my university account, although i'm affriad some PC types
might like it to be, if you know what I mean.

cheers,

Peter
