Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: imap

I have a .Mac mail account that I have set up in Entourage. I have had it setup since the beginning of the year. Just recently, mail received in the .Mac IMAP inbox is being moved to the Folders on My Computer inbox which I don't want to happen. It doesn't happen to all incoming mail. .Mac mail in my inbox is being deleted from the .Mac account which prevents me from seeing the email on my PDA or when I check my web based .Mac mail account. How can I prevent this from occurring? I appreciate your help in advance.

Check the Rules and the Mailing List Manager. I bet one of them is
messed-up and redirects mail to the wrong location.

I appreciate the tip. I don't have any rules or Mailing List Manager installed. How can I eliminate Entourage from moving or copying mail, contacts or anything from my other email accounts as well as MSFT Exchange into "Folders on My Computer"?

Please look again... Under Tools in the Menu bar select Mailing List
Manager.

It's very easy to set up a MLM rule by accident, when you are marking a
message as 'not junk'. The wording of that dialog is ambiguous to say the
least. Check if there is an MLM entry (look for MLM entries under the tools
menu) with the incorrect destination folder as the target folder. Mailing
List Manager rules run before your other rules.

You were right - I had a "not junk mail" rule in there that was moving my messages.

Another question. when I get a calendar invite, how can I select which calendar I want it to write to? When I accept an invitation, it schedules in my calendar on my computer. I prefer that it schedule in my calendar that's linked to Exchange. Thoughts?

Entourage has only one calendar. I'll have to let the Exchange experts help
with this one.

Go to Tools --> Accounts..., select your Exchange account and click the
Make Default button. The default account sets the default calendar and
address book (Contacts for Exchange).

Hope this helps!
