Enumerating meta-information

Microsoft Access allows me to specify a lot a meta-information about tables
and fields (columns). I can specify comments and form element types for each
field.

How do I programmatically retrieve this information? I have written an ADOX
program that enumerates everything I can find in the API but I still cannot
see the information I see with the Microsoft Access design view UI.
