Envelope addresses

I

Ian Wolfe

I am now so old that I am completely confused -again! It is some time
since I sent a letter, but had Word 2003 set up so that it displayed
all the addresses from Outlook contacts when clicking on the little
book. Now suddenly it has changed; could this be because of the recent
upgrades to XP?

Now when I click on the little book I get the following:

In MS Outlook > Tools > Options > Other,
the box making Outlook the default program for email etc is ticked.

In Word 2003 Tools > Letters & Mailing > Envelopes & Labels > Delivery
Address I get told to run Outlook and set it as the email client. But
as I say above, this is already done.

I use Thunderbird for email. I am having trouble finding if this is
also set as a default for email.

I stress that I have personally made no changes to either program. I
would be most grateful for any help. TIA.

You can only have one default e-mail application and that will be the one
that pops up if you use the send to dialog from Word.
Change the default from Windows Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs
