We have just moved over from a POP3 email server to a Microsoft Exchange 2003
server. Whenever new emails were retreived, whether a Rule was attached or
not, we would get the Envelope Icon in the System Tray. Now that our Rules
are on the Exchange Server, we only get the Envelope Icon when emails come
into the Inbox. This is extremely annoying for all of our users who use Rules
extensively. We now have to check Outlook quite a bit instead of being
notified automatically that a new email has arrived.
I have tried ammending the Rules to "display a specific message" or "Display
a Desktop Alert", but that just makes the Rule to be "Client-Only"
Is there anyway around this?
