Envelope printing using Word in Office XP Pro

I have been using the Envelope printing icon in Word for some years
but I've suddenly hit a problem. Having loaded an envelope and having
clicked the envelope icon the printer loads the envelope and
apparently begins printing (sounds as though its printing) but the
envelope emerges blank. As a test I've omitted inserting an envelope
- upon which the printer selects a sheet of paper to print on - but
still the page emerges blank.

The standard Print option works perfectly normally and correctly - the
problem only arises when I use the Envelope icon.

I've used the Repair feature on my Office diskette and I've also
removed and reloaded the printer software (I use a Lexmark Z25
printer, but the problem persists.

Any suggesstions?
