There is a different setup for the printer for envelop printing.
If your using a standard business envelope then you need to do the
following.
Highlight and hit copy (command C) on the desired address.
Next got to print envelope
in the two panels you'll see or should see your return address, and the
recipient's address.
Next look for printer setup or page set up within that window.
Click on it and choose #10 envelope. Also depending upon your printer
you have too choose from one of the two landscape modes one show arrow
point up the other shows down.
next get out of set up and print on plain sheet of paper and see how the
envelope is printed. Now make sure when you insert envelope in printer
you insert front side down if you have say a HP inkjet and you have flap
facing to left.
read up on your printer's method of printing envelopes.
How you set portrait printing will be determined by your printer.
One you have everything setup print on a cheap envelope to make sure
everything is correct. One correct don't go into printer set up again
for envelopes unless you have to use a different sty envelope.
It would be a good idea to write the individual settings down for each
envelop you you use until you get them memorized.
Now remember this has absolutely nothing to do with your page setup for
your letters or documents.
Version: v.X
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC
When I create an envelope, after typing in the address and hitting OK, the page that appears is blank. If I print the blank page, the return address print out, though not in the correct place, and the address does not.
