Envelopes print in color, not black, from Word address list

When printing an envelope from an address list in Word, the color of the
print is red or blue. The font color and numerous other test have been run.
It is not a printer problem as the same thing happpens when trying another
printer. It is definitely a XP software problem. Offiice has been uninstalled
and re=installed without resolving the issue.
