Envelopes printing incorrectly in user account

Just yesterday, my envelope #10 size Send to Address started printing at the
top of the envelope in my user account; when using envelopes and labels tool
in Word 2003. I uninstalled and reinstalled my Epson CX9400Fax drivers and
software. Envelopes print correctly in my Admin account. In the User
account, the Send to address is printing at the top center of the envelope.
If you print on an 8 1/2 X 11 paper, all the information prints vertically
across the center of the page, instead of on the viewer's right. I tried
changing the Page Down settings, it makes no difference. The info continues
to print in the middle of a 8 1/2 X 11 page or at the top center of a #10
envelope. The envelopes print feature was working correctly the last time I
used it prior to yesterday in my user account. I had the same problem with my
old Epson CX5400; and could not correct it in the user account.

I did notice that after reinstalling the Epson drivers and software, my
default return address was still intact from the previous install in the user
account only. I prefer to use my User account for everyday activities for
security reasons. Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

The position of the address on an envelope is determined by the settings of
a frame that's part of the Envelope Address style stored in the Normal.dot
template (see http://www.gmayor.com/changing_envelope_layout.htm). Each
account has its own Normal.dot, and it seems the one in your user account
has been changed.

The quickest way to fix this is this:

- Log into the user account, but don't start Word yet.
- In the My Computer (file manager program), in the box at the top that
shows the current folder, type or paste in
%appdata%\Microsoft\Templates
Then press Enter. This displays a folder (normally a hidden folder)
containing templates, including Normal.dot.
- Rename Normal.dot to OldNormal.dot.
- Start Word, which will automatically create a new, factory-standard
Normal.dot.
- If you had any customizations (custom styles, macros, etc.) in
OldNormal.dot that you want to copy into the new template, use the Organizer
(Tools > Templates & Add-Ins > Organizer). Otherwise, delete OldNormal.dot.

A more roundabout way is to open a new blank document and go to Format >
Styles & Formatting. Set the display to All Styles. Right-click the Envelope
Address style and choose Modify. Check the box in the Modify dialog for "Add
to template". Then click the Format button and choose Frame. In the Frame
dialog, the default settings are
Width: Exactly 5.5"
Height: Exactly 1.38"
Horizontal position: Center relative to Page
Vertical position: Bottom relative to Margin
I suspect it's the last of these that has been changed, to Top relative to
Margin or maybe Top relative to Page. Once you've corrected the settings,
click OK in each dialog and then close Word; when asked whether to save
changes to Normal.dot, say yes.
