Is there a simple way to create an envelope in Outlook
2000 from a contact? It seems that there's all the info
Outlook would need there.

There are some very convoluted ways it could be done
through Word mail merge, but that doesn't seem worth the
work!

Mail merge is the mechanism Outlook uses. It's pretty simply when you use
Word's Envelope and Labels option in the Tools menu.

it was easy that way - thanks.
the help files implied that i should go through
Tools/MailMerge rather than Tools/Envelope and that
way WAY unseemly. Your way was easier...once I noticed
the little contacts dropdown button.
