Legallisa - switching from WordPerfect

I want to create a #10 envelope file. I don't want to use the envelope
feature in Word that picks the address from your letter. I have formatting
that I like to use.

I can't believe I am having such trouble creating this document however. I
want to create an envelope that has each of our client's name and address on
it and save it in their folder.

At a blank screen I choose page layout, size, and select #10 envelope. It
appears in portrait so I change it to landscape. But when I print the
envelope, it prints as though it is in landscape.

Does this make sense? What is the best way to create an envelope to work
the way I describe?

I know I can use the Word envelope feature and append to document, but then
I don't know how to get rid of the document and just keep the envelope.

Help!

I'm having trouble switching from WordPefect.

Why not use the #10 envelope template that you can download from my web site
and transfer the font settings that you prefer to the two envelope styles -
http://www.gmayor.com/changing_envelope_layout.htm ?

Note that the templates are automated to pick addresses from Outlook. You
can remove or rename the 'autonew' macro in the templates to disable that
feature if you prefer, or simply click cancel on the Outlook dialog to enter
the address manually.
