Envleopes to labels

I have a file of 120 envelopes (not my idea!) and I would
like to convert them to labels for a large mailing. I
cannot find any information on a way to either export
them to Excel or convert the envelopes into labels.
Every time I go into the mail merge wizard it tells me
that it will have to delete all of the contents to change
the size. Any suggestions? (I'm not sure where this
should go so I'm posting it in a couple of different
groups.)

Define 'file' in this context. Is this a single document, or a lot of
individual documents?

It's a single document consisting of envelopes with the
mailing address only (no return address).

Save the document as a .txt file and that will strip out all of the envelope
formatting and (after you close and then reopen it) leave you with a file
containing just the address details. Then use the information on fellow MVP
Graham Mayor's website at
http://www.gmayor.com/convert_labels_into_mail_merge.htm to convert the
information into a form that can be used as a datasource for producing
labels.

Thank you very VERY much! I never would have figured
that out on my own. It worked like a charms, though.
