EPM 2007 Demo Scripts

Shafeeq

Dear All,

I am preparing training sessions for epm users and would like to know if
there are any ready demo scripts that can be downloaded instead of having to
prepare such scripts from scratch.

Thanks,

Hi Shafeeq,
Microsoft does have a VPC image for EPM Partners which contain a suite of
demo scripts. If you are an EPM partner I would suggest to go to the partner
site. You will find the VPC image there.
Hope this helps

Thanks Marc,
I am aware of the vpc and have communicated with Microsoft to get it, but it
would require few days to finalize the request and to get it as its not
directly accessible to partners.

I was wondering if there is another source to get the scripts or any other
in the meantime.

Thanks,

Thanks Gary for your clarifications.

I have access to partners sources but according to the information there i
have to send a request to get the virtual machine and thats what i have done
and still waiting for a response from Microsoft.

Also, the demo scripts don't have to be those in the VPC, I was wondering if
anyone else has something similar which he/she is willing to share :).

Given the fact that you are going to train people to use Project Server
2007, I'm a little bit mystified that you think a demo script would suffice.
Instead, I would encourage you to use an actual role-based training manual
on how people should use Project Server 2007 effectively. If you are
willing to spend money for a training manual, I would encourage you to order
our role-based curricula on Project Server 2007 at:

If you are looking for a freebie only, refer to the following:

Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale for your help.

I am aware that for proper training that proper training manuals and role
based training will be needed. But in this case now the idea was to have
something to start up with for a short internal training session which i was
going to update to reflect the current implementation which is again a small
one which mainly involves project members and project managers.

Shafeeq:

Certified partners in the US have direct access to these. If you are a
registered partner, I guess you'll have to wait for Microsoft to distribute
these to you. Under the Microsoft NDA terms, partners are not allowed to
distribute this content.
