Hello,

When I create a new project from the project center of PWA an error message
appears. It tells me that for this action I need to have MS Project pro 2007.
But I have it ! When I check my system I get these information :"Microsoft
Office Project 2007 (12.0.6423.1000) SP2 MSO (12.0.6425.1000) ".

Furthermore I can connect MS Project with an account filled with my PWA url
(http://epm/pwa).

When I create a project from MS Project 2007 and save it on the Project
Server, there is no problem. But it does not appears in the project center of
PWA.

How can I do ?

Thanks,

Guillaume.

Guillaume:

In addition to Barbara's sage advice, check to see that you've properly
enabled Active X, as this uses an Active X control to launch Project.

Hi,

Thanks both of you for your answers. I work now. I can create of modify a
project from PWA, but I can't publish.

I didn't work cause I set up a DNS alias : "epm/pwa" (my server real adress
is "epm-test/pwa")
The URL in my account was http://epm-test/pwa (I didn't thought the DNS
alias could be resolved)
I define the URL with Alias : "http://epm/pwa " and now it work !
It strange cause i can reach PWA with "http://epm-test/PWA" too.

But now I can't publish the project on PWA. When I click on "Publish" the
operation start but freeze on 0%. (with generally a long scheduled time for
publishing)

Any idea ?

Thanks,

Guillaume

Hi,

Thank you. I've already made this operation, but unfortunatly it didn't
solve the problem.

Here is the big new : An other user can normally publish a project.

But I still can't publish a project on my workstation (publish processus
freeze at 0%). It can help to narrow the research.

Guillaume.
