EPM 2007 Queue Alerts for Administrators

Does anyone have suggestions on how to setup a notification to the
Administrators when items get hung in the Project Server 2007 queue? Software
Purchase?

I've looked at using the Windows Performance Monitor alerts but I'm not sure
if it will work properly.
