Hi Rayis,

Is this for a second copy of documents?

Because I'm sure you are aware that Project Server (SharePoint actually)
saves ALL documents in the SQL database. If you backup the database,
you've backed up the documents

Can you elaborate the reason why you would want another copy?

yes, it is a second copy which I am looking for

Here's the story

Our friends in IT Operations applied a security patch on the Window
server. After a few months during the regular maintenence, they ha
to shut the power down. So all servers were shut down properly. I
was only after power was restored that the SQL servers were havin
network problems and no one could access EPM

We lost a whole day because people had their documents on the server
and they could not access them

So this is where I'm asking, if something like this happens again
ideally it would be great to have these documents on standar
Windows/NT network so that people can access the latest documents

Rayis:

The only way you can do this is to extract the plans from the SQL database.
I can assure you that if you took such action to save a day, you'd loose a
week trying to put everything back together again. It's not a good strategy
given the technology constraints, despite the fact that it's good thinking
on your part.
