EPM Hardware Specs doubt

We have an EPM implementation in study for a large organization.
We have been searching for hardware specs for EPM deployment server, but
can't seem to find any specific answer.

Our universe might be something like:

Server Software:
Project Server 2003 Sp1
Number os Projects: 200, and scalable
Number of resources: 1000 where about 930 are non-PManagers and 70 are PM.

We expect about 70 simulataneous accessess (10%)

SQL Server version: 2000 (running on a separate server)
Windows Server 2003

What should be our Project Server Hardware specs?
Server Processor/ Double processor(?) :
RAM:
HD:

What should be our DB Server Hardware specs?
Server Processor:
RAM:
HD:

We apreciatte any help, as this is an important issue for us.

Have you tried looking at the MS Project Server 2003 configuration planning
guide on the microsoft site that has specs for a number of different EPM
deployments?

I have done this with a hypervisor to make this portable and easy to backup.
I used VMware ESX and have had success. If interested in a demo, let me know.

We have indeed looked at that manual...
However, the manual only specifies scenarios for 500; 8000; 12000 users.
Our implementation is in-between two of these.

We want it to be ready for about 2500 users.
And what about simultaneous accesses? We can't seem to find any information...

Regards,
