We make a Critical Chain add-in for MS-Project. For our reports to be
correct, once the project is statused there must be only completed work
before the status date and only remaining work after the status date.
I'm working with the Project Server 2007 Beta2TR VM, and I can't figure out
how to achieve this condition when I update tasks.
With EPM2003, you would use the "Actual Work done and Work Remaining" update
option, and accept the updates into Project Pro, You would be prompted for
the status date, and with the Calculation options set properly, this would
be taken care of by Project Pro.
Now with Server side scheduling, I can't find the options to flow the
completed and remaining work correctly around the status date. Any
suggestions or resources to look at?
