Epson Stylus Printing in Powerpoint 97

I get the following error msg when attempting to print in
Powerpoint 97. This msg only came up this week; up to
this time, I have not had any difficulty printing files on
my Epson Stylus 440:
"EPIRPE20 has caused an error in Kernel32.DLL. EPIRPE20
will now close."
I went to Epson Product Info #48 and followed their
instructions for EPIRPExx error solutions with no luck. I
can print from the web as well as other Office products
(Word and Excel).
Any suggestions?
