This error is reproducable on both Word 2007 and Word 2007 /w SP1. To produce
this error, follow the steps below.
1. Create a new Word document and enter some words like
The phases of nearly cells differ in
2. Insert an equation via Insert, Equation. In my case, I entered "90"
3. Insert a citation like (Pollen and Ronner, 1981) right after the equation

A similar problem has been reported to MS. The current workaround is to add
a space following the equation. Thanks for confirming the bug.
