If I insert (into a Mac Word 2004, or 98 doc.) an Equation Editor v3
equation that contains angle brackets ... like <x>, but <> are from the
palette, not just greater and less than symbols ... they display
reversed: >x< under WinWord200. Note, that the rough display graphic
will initially look correct on WinWord but once it is refreshed (e.g.
by printing or double clicking on the equation) the reversal occurs.
Correcting the <> brackets and saving in WinWord then returning to
either MacWord (2004, 98) and the <> are correct, even after
refreshing. But if I save again and go back to WinWord2000, the
reversal has been re-established by the Mac.
I have installed the latest 11.1.1 Word2004 update.
