Hi,
I recently upgraded to Mac OS 10.3.1 and subsequently tried to edit a
document created in Word 2001 (Office 2001) in OS 9.2.2 containing
equations created in Equation editor (v3.1a8). However, Word X (SR1)
comes back and indicates that <Word cannot edit the Microsoft
equation>. I checked my Office X folder (in the proper folder in the
Applications folder of OS 10) and it contained Equation editor
(v.10.0.0). This and other elements of the Value pack were installed by
the Value pack installer included with the CD (upgrade). I checked the
crash log, as the application (Equation editor) attempts to launch when I
double click on it, and there is a crash report.
Does any one have any clue how I might fix this problem?
Thanks in advance for any help.
