I use the equation editor (EE) in both Word and PowerPoint extensively during the day, the first to add equations to documents and the second to add them to lecture slides. In Word, I want the preferences (fonts, font sizes etc) to be small but in PowerPoint I need a different, larger set of preferences. In Word 2004 I wrote a small workflow that allowed me to switch rapidly between the two sets by overwriting the EE preferences file in the User>Library>Microsoft folder. However, with an install of 2008 I can't find the equation editor preferences file. Anyone got ideas? Editing the preferences in the EE program itself a dozen times a day is tedious at best
Of course, it would be better if Word and PowerPoint both remembered their own unique settings for use with the equation editor...
